Glass stairs picture big challenge in the stair building art. By using special chemically treated, tempered and laminated glass it is possible to get the required strength to hold the weight of itself and the people walking on it. Even if one glass is damaged during installation or afterwards by an accident, the reliability of its support is guarantied at any time.
Straight and curved glass staircases can be used in the private and commercial sector. Therefore the stair can span over several floors and can reach a width of up to 3 meters. Due to the intensive work with engineers and experienced glass manufacturer we are able to handle all demands like code requirements and statically requirements.
Siller acts as stair designer and point of connection between the glass manufacturer and the structural engineer. With experience and knowledge we advice architects and contractors how to plan a glass staircase to comply with the demands of security, design and codes.

You can either choose from our standard glass stairs selection or we design a stair with glass parts just for you. Hereby we can combine different treatments of the glass like sand blasting (anitslip), with LED illuminated glass or glass treads which are changing the colour by walking on them (polivision private glass).
